Journal of International Students – Volume 16, Issue 13 (2026) brings together 15 peer-reviewed research articles authored by 37 scholars representing 25 institutions across 12 countries: Australia, China, Malaysia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Tunisia, South Korea, Indonesia, Romania,  India, and others. The issue features a rich range of global perspectives on international student experiences, institutional sustainability, leadership, mobility, well-being, and emerging technologies in higher education. This issue highlights timely topics such as mental health and acculturative stress, academic success and personality, online vocational learning, doctoral writing in the age of ChatGPT, transformational leadership and supportive learning environments, social adaptation, international student mobility, the sustainability of international schools, and student preparedness for AI-driven VUCA environments. These studies offer empirically grounded and internationally relevant insights for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers working to better understand and support students in an increasingly complex global higher education.
