All articles published in the Journal of International Students (JIS) are made available under an open access model and are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Under this license, users are free to:

  • read, download, copy, distribute, and share the work
  • adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use

provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are clearly indicated.

Author Rights

Authors retain full copyright of their work. By publishing with JIS, authors grant the journal the non-exclusive right to:

  • publish, reproduce, and distribute the article
  • identify itself as the original publisher
  • include the work in indexing and archiving services

Authors are permitted to:

  • share and distribute their published work freely
  • deposit the article in institutional repositories or personal websites

Third-Party Content

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use any third-party material (e.g., images, tables, figures) included in their manuscript. Such material must be properly credited and comply with copyright regulations.
