2026 Vol 16(11) brings together 20 scholars from 12 institutions across 11 countries to examine how international students navigate belonging, identity, and adaptation in an increasingly complex global higher education. This volume explores the lived experiences of students studying across diverse contexts—including China, Hungary, Turkey, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States—while also addressing broader questions of policy, culture, religion, and academic life. Through qualitative narratives, policy analysis, and quantitative studies, the contributors illuminate themes such as academic shock, imposter syndrome, housing and cultural adjustment, learning motivation, religious adaptation, and the politics shaping international student mobility.
