Archiving & Repository Policy
Archiving and Preservation
The American Journal of STEM Education: Issues and Perspectives, published by STAR Scholars Press, participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to ensure the long-term digital preservation of its scholarly content.
The PKP Preservation Network provides decentralized and secure preservation of journal content through the Public Knowledge Project, ensuring that all published articles remain permanently accessible even in the event that the journal is no longer available online.
All published articles are archived and preserved to guarantee long-term access for researchers, libraries, and the academic community worldwide.
Repository and Self-Archiving Policy
The journal supports the broad dissemination of scholarly research and allows authors to deposit versions of their work in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, or other open-access repositories.
Articles published in the journal are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Authors may therefore archive and share the following versions of their work:
-
Submitted manuscript (preprint)
-
Accepted manuscript (postprint)
-
Final published version (version of record)
When depositing their work in a repository, authors are encouraged to include full citation details and a link to the official published article on the journal website.
