Article Types Guide for Authors
The American Journal of Medicine and Health Studies welcomes submissions across a wide range of topics in medicine and health sciences. Authors must classify their submissions under one of the following article types. All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process, and certain article types—such as review articles and editorials—are often invited but may be considered if submitted unsolicited.
1. Research Articles Research Article- Reports original clinical, experimental, or epidemiological research.
- Structured abstract required.

- Maximum 50 references
- A comprehensive analysis of the literature on a specific medical or health topic.
- PRISMA guidelines must be followed.
- Maximum words: 3,000

- Maximum 100 references
- A critical, evidence-based synthesis of existing knowledge.
- Must include discussion on clinical or public health implications.
- Maximum words: 3,000

- Detailed report of an individual clinical case with educational value.
- Summary abstract required.

- Maximum 20 references
- Stepwise clinical reasoning applied to a complex case.
